Pairs and Spares Class of the Smoke Rise Baptist Church, Stone Mountain, GA

We are a Sunday School class of adults and those as close to adult-hood as they are going to get.  We used to say we were 40-plus, then 50-plus, and now let’s just say we are a bunch of folks who are old enough to know better but young enough to not care.  Seriously, we have a range of ages, as do most of the adult classes here at Smoke Rise Baptist Church at 5901 Hugh Howell Rd., Stone Mountain, GA 30087.  

 

We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 in room A126, under the gym.   Enter the door on the right (as seen from the street) side of our building nearest the rear.  If you’re a woman, ask the greeter where to go.  If you’re a  man, turn left in the hall and go to where the hall dead-ends.  Turn left again and enter the only door on the left.  This will be in the back of the room.

 

Our teacher is Jenny Brannon, a patient and understanding lady who somehow tolerates us.  She even tolerates Dick’s comments, though of course we don’t know what happens when they get home.

 

Come and visit with us.  We like to laugh and have fun, but we are also serious about our study of the scripture and our support of a number of mission causes, far and near.  We love and support each other, and we love and welcome visitors.  We take seriously our Church motto, “Giving ourselves away.”
